English: Jerusalem, Talpiot, Dani'el Yanovski street, on the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), with no cars and people walking in the middle of the road.

הצילום הזה קשה להבנה בלי הסבר כי צריך לחפש בו את מה שאין- מכוניות יום כיפור בירושלים. אני קם בארבע בבוקר להאכיל את החתולה במרפסת המטבח, וחוזר לחדרי להתעמל באמצעות חבל שמתוח על גלגלת. החתולה גומרת לאכול ובאה למחוא לי טלפיים. בהברקה של רקע אני מותח את החבל לכיוון הרצפה והחתולה מתנפלת עליו להפגין כישורים אתלטיים. אני רץ לחדר השני, מביא פרוז'קטור, ומספיק לצלם את האירוע בוידיאו. רק אחרי שאני גומר לערוך את הסרט אני שם לב שבערוץ השמע לא נקלט רעש חיצוני כלשהו. רק בעד שעתיים יודיע העורב הראשון לחבריו שהצפרים עומדות להתחיל לפטפט והכלבים לנבוח. אחר כך ניתן יהיה לשמוע את צעדי ההולכים לבית הכנסת, ואת תפילותיהם. איש לא יבקש סליחה בקול רם או בלב, מאלוהים או מחברו, על השתתפותו ברעש העיר, וכבר הערב יסתערו, עלי ועליהם, רעשי מנועים, בים באוויר וביבשה, וצופרי אמבולנסים, וצפצופי אזהרה של משאיות שנוסעות לאחור, וזעקות אזעקות
