Description
עברית: מעלוּל היה כפר ערבי שהתקיים בשוליו הצפוניים של עמק יזרעאל, על שלוחה מערבית של הרי נצרת, כ-6 ק"מ דרומית-מערבית לעיר נצרת. הכפר היה מאוכלס ברובו באוכלוסייה נוצרית. במהלך מלחמת העצמאות, במסגרת מבצע דקל נגד צבא ההצלה, נכבש הכפר ב-15 ביולי 1948 על ידי כוח מחטיבת גולני. בתי הכפר נהרסו. לאחר הריסתו עברו רבים מתושביו לנצרת וליפיע הסמוכות. כיום נותרו באתר שתי כנסיות שאחת מהן שופצה בשנת 2010 ומופעלת על ידי צאצאי בני הכפר.
