עברית: מנזר מאר אליאס הוא מנזר יווני-אורתודוקסי על דרך חברון בירושלים. הוקם בתקופה הביזנטית, נהרס ושוקם מספר פעמים. נקבר בו הבישוף של ירושלים, אליאס. עם הזמן התפתחה מסורת הגורסת שכאן חנה אליהו הנביא בבורחו מפני איזבל. בחזית מוצב ספסל אבן לזכרו של ויליאם הולמן האנט, שנהג לשבת מול המנזר ולצייר.
