Description
עברית: סביל אבו נבוט ב' הוא סביל השוכן ממערב למסגד מחמודיה ביפו. הסביל נבנה על ידי מושל יפו בתחילת המאה ה-19, מחמוד אגא א-שאמי (שכונה "אבו נבוט"), ושכן ליד הכניסה למסגד, אולם עם הרחבת הכביש הוא הוזז כ-20 מטר מערבה והוצב בליבו של מעין כיכר. השם "סביל אבו נבוט ב'" נטבע בידי זאב וילנאי, כדי להבדילו מסביל אבו נבוט הנמצא בדרך בן צבי. בעבר היה זה מבנה מפואר הדומה לסביל בכניסה למסגד אל-ג'זאר בעכו. הסביל עצמו עשוי בצורת משושה מקושט בלוחות שיש וסביבו ששה עמודים הנושאים כותרות חטובות, כנראה בשימוש משני. העמודים תומכים בשש קשתות הנושאות כפה.
