Deutsch: Der Dschisr as-Saġīr (arab.: Kleine Brücke) quert den Jarmuk kurz vor seiner Mündung in den Jordan, der Name bezeichnete – laut Ingenieur Gottlieb Schumacher (1911) – die Straßen- wie die benachbarte Bahnbrücke. Der Jarmuk fließt hier südwestwärts dem Betrachter entgegen. Die Brücken überspannen auch den Jordan-Jarmuk-Kanal der nördlich parallel (im Bild links) zum Jarmuk verläuft, jetzt trocken liegt, hinter der Spundwand Wasser des Jordan heranführte, in diesem Abschnitt als zum Jarmuk gegenläufig floss, um kurz oberhalb der Brücken das Jarmuk-Reservoir zu speisen, zu dem der Jarmuk dort aufgestaut ist, das das ‹Erste Jordan-Kraftwerk›, 1926-1933 erbaut, mit der nötigen Wasserkraft versorgte. Zwischen beiden Brücken weist der Jordan-Jarmuk-Kanal noch eine Überlaufschleuse auf, um bei hohem Wasserzulauf Druck vom Stausee zu nehmen. Vorn sind die Brückenköpfe zu sehen, zwischen den eine stählerne Balkenbrücke im Zuge der Bahnstrecke Haifa–Darʿā den Jarmuk überspannte, dahinter die ältere steinerne Bogenbrücke für den Straßenverkehr mit einem Provisorium über einen zerstörten Brückenbogen. Die vordere Bahnbrücke ist die Erste Bahnbrücke über den Jarmuk von 15 im Verlauf besagter Bahnstrecke.
