English: This mosque is one of the historical mosques in the Jazan region, which was built by Sharif Hammoud bin Muhammad al-Hasani, nicknamed Abu Mismar, in the early XIII century AH during the era of the First Saudi State in the city of Abu Arish in the Al-Dirah neighborhood next to his house in the west of the city (Al-Khalidiyah neighborhood). Three rows balanced, each row has six domes of plaster and brick, and the mosque is considered an architectural masterpiece that has been standing for more than two centuries. From the inside, it has fifteen columns on which the domes rest.
