فارسی: علی بنایی (زادهٔ ۱۳۳۸ در قم) نمایندهٔ حوزهٔ انتخابیهٔ قم در دورهٔ هفتم مجلس شورای اسلامی بوده‌است. وی پیش‌تر در دورهٔ هشتم نیز عضو این مجلس بود. علی بنایی نامزد دهمین دوره مجلس شورای اسلامی از استان قم می باشد

مهمترین سوابق سیاسی: -نماينده مردم قم در مجلس شوراي اسلامي (دوره هاي هفتم و هشتم). -مشاور پارلمانی رئیس قوه قضائیه. -معاون سیاسی امنیتی استانداری قم. -مؤسس و رئیس اتاق فکر استان قم. -عضو كميسيون تلفيق مجلس شوراي اسلامي (1383، 1388، 1389و1390) -عضو هيئت رئيسه كميسيون برنامه، بودجه و محاسبات (مجلس هشتم). -عضو هيئت رئيسه و مخبر كميسيون اصل نودم قانون اساسي (مجلس هفتم). -عضو كميته تعامل قواي مقننه و قضائيه مجلس شوراي اسلامي. -عضو كارگروه توسعه و عمران استان قم. -مؤسس مؤسسه آموزش عالي غیردولتی – غیرانتفاعی طلوع مهر. -دبير كانون نويسندگان قم‌. -مؤسسِ بنياد قم پژوهي.

-نماينده طلاب و فضلاي محترم قمي در مجمع نمايندگان حوزه علميه قم(چهار دوره پياپي).
