دد مواطن تونسي، اليوم الأربعاء، بتفجير نفسه في مركز بريد وسط العاصمة تونس، بينما كان يحيط جسده بأسلاك كهربائيّة ويحمل حقيبة على ظهره تبين لاحقا أنها لا تحتوي على متفجرّات. ولكون مركز البريد محاذ لمقر ولاية (محافظة) تونس، تولى والي تونس (المحافظ)، عمر منصور، التفاوض مع هذا الشخص، الذي كان يحتجز موظفي مركز البريد، حتى تمت السيطرة عليه، لتكتشف وحدات أمنية فتشت الحقيبة أنها تحتوي على كيس به عجين معكرونة. وقال والي تونس، وهو وزير عدل سابق، في تصريح لوكالة الأناضول: "تفاوضت مع هذا الشخص، الذي كان يعاني مشاكل اجتماعية وشخصّية (لم يحددها الوالي)، قرابة 20 دقيقة، وبعد الاستماع إليه، تمكنت من إقناعه بالعزوف عما يهدد به".English: Egypt Arabic: A Tunisian threatens to blow himself up at a post office downtown. On Wednesday, a Tunisian citizen detonated himself in a post office in downtown Tunis while his body was surrounded by electric wires and carrying a bag on his back that later turned out to contain no explosives. As the post office was adjacent to the headquarters of Tunis governorate, the governor of Tunis, Omar Mansour, negotiated with the person who was holding the post office staff until he was taken over to discover security units. The bag looked like it contained a bag of pasta dough. “I negotiated with this person, who had social and personal problems (not specified by the governor), for about 20 minutes. After listening to him, I managed to convince him that he was not afraid of what he was threatened by,” said Wali Tunis, a former justice minister. |
