English: Daalpuri, pared with any type of tangy chutney, fresh cucumber salad and a cup of warm steamy chai is what any Bengali thinks when asked about what their comfort snack looks like on a quite evening. When the sun starts to set, the mouth-watering aroma of daalpuris start to come from street food stalls all over Bengal. They are usually made with a simple flour dough and cooked lentil stuffing.
