Common name - Maulsari Tree; Indian medlar  ; Bullet wood Nativity - India It has been found out that bark, flowers, fruits, and seeds are astringent and anthelmintic ; Plant is mainly used in dental ailments like bleeding gums,and loose teeth ;Extract of flowers is used for heart diseases and leucorrhoea ;Fruits are useful to cure burning urination. Fruit pounded and mixed with water promotes delivery in childbirth.Powder of dried flowers is a brain tonic ; Bark decoction of bark is used to wash wounds.
