A creeper with tiny red flower; Has medicinal qualities to treat Constipation , Excema , Indigestion , Vomitting etc., ; Cook leaves for the cure of Jaundice ,Gas trouble etc., ;Powder of root is used to fight Dim eye sight and Cataract .

வேறு பெயர்கள்-மூக்குறட்டை, சாட்டரணை, மூச்சரைச் சாரணை, சத்தி சாரணை . சிவப்புச் சிறு பூக்களை உடைய கொடி ; இலை மேற்புரம் பச்சையாகவும் கீழ்ப்புறம் வெழுத்துச் சாம்பல் நிறத்திலும் காணப்படும். 

மூக்கிரட்டைச் சாற்றுடன் நல்லெண்ணெயை கலந்து காய்ச்சி வீக்கத்தின் மேல் தடவி வந்தால் வாத வீக்கம் குறையும்.


மலச்சிக்கல், சொறி சிரங்கு, வாந்தி,செரியாமை ஆகியவற்றுக்கு மருந்தாகிறது.


இலையைத் துவையலாகச் சாப்பிட்டால் காமாலை, சோகை, வாயு நோய்கள் வராமல் தடுக்கலாம்.

வேர்ப் பொடி , மாலைக் கண், கண்படலம், பார்வை மங்கல் ஆகியவற்றுக்கு மருந்தாகும்.
