ไทย: พระมหาธาตุเจดีย์ของวัดพระมหาธาตุวรมหาวิหาร จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช เป็นเจดีย์แบบลังกาหรือระฆังคว่ำ มีประวัติเปลี่ยนแปลงและบูรณะมาหลายครั้ง โดยเดิมเป็นเจดีย์แบบศรีวิชัย ต่อมาเป็นเจดีย์แบบศาญจิ และเป็นแบบลังกาแบบในปัจจุบัน ปลียอดจะหุ้มด้วยทองคำแลเห็นเด่นจากไกล ชาวบ้านจึงเรียกพระธาตุยอดทอง เป็นที่สักการะบูชาของชาวพุทธปักษ์ไต้
