日本語: ステューシー（Stüssy）とは、ボードシェイパーのショーン・ステューシー（Shawn Stussy）が、彼の仲間のためにデザインした数枚のＴシャツから始まったアパレルブランドである。1980年、南カリフォルニアのラグナ・ビーチを拠点にしたサーフ・カルチャーから始まった。当初はレゲエミュージシャンやスケーター、ヒップホップミュージシャンやDJが好んだサーフブランドであったが、時が経つと共に有名なストリートブランドへと成長した。1990年、ソーホーにNYCチャプトをオープンした後、東京、ロサンゼルス、ロンドン、イタリアなどを中心にワールドワイドな販売を展開した。日本では主にサーファー、スケーター、ヒップホップ、裏原宿系ファッションの愛好家に人気がある。 |
