日月潭の杵頭 （臺灣）

日月潭の岸に住む化蕃はその家の前なる巨石を臼として米を搗き粟を搗く。その響は周圍の翠巒に反響し、澄明の湖上に搖曳し、一種云ふべからざる哀音となつて惻々として人に迫る。況してこの哀音に和するものは妙齡の蕃婦の口を洩るゝ蕃歌である。遊子これを聞いて泣かぬはない。八勝の一なる蕃家杵聲といふは即ちそれである。｜（一九二七、五撮影）（印畫の複製を禁ず）
