臺上今は僅に駐輦忠魂の二基の碑石と、亭々たる幾株かの松柏の枯木とを殘すに止る。赫山風趣の訊ぬべきもの少けれど、日淸の役に遡れば滿丘老松鬱蒼として繁れる大森林にして、敵はこの地に根據し、我が軍を傷く惱ましたりとか。今更に今昔の感に堪へないものがある。｜今丘上に立てば、町及其附近一望の内に觀る。｜（一九二七撮影）（印畫の複製を禁ず）
