海抜一千四百米、人も馬も泣いて越えたこの嶮難も、これからは居眠つて越せる。その山腹を穿つて西から東へ文化を傳ふべき自然との戰の足場は、この幾棟かのバラツクであつた。爆藥、電氣、壓搾空氣。機械と人とが勇敢に此の天險を征服する原動力は、この森林中のバラツクであつた。私は敢て之を山中に築かれ文化と言ふ。｜（一九二八撮影）（印畫の複製を禁ず）
