近き數年の行事に數へて、山海關は既に幾度戰爭の渦に捲き込まれたことか。萬里の長城を中心としたる血腥き爭闘は、今日も尚千五百年來の歷史そのまゝに、人々はかくて戰爭を恐れつゝも既に馴れてしまつた。｜一度は風の如く西へ進んだ奉天軍が、今又その都を逐はれて山海關に舞戻つた。風は既に腥いが、城外には無心の羊が群れ遊ぶ。｜（一九二八、撮影）（印畫の複製を禁ず）
