寺を訪れた頃は、春と言ふのにはまだ早過ぎる二月の末だつた。落ち葉一つなく北風に吹きさらされた巨刹法慶寺の門前にカメラを据えると、物賣と小車夫とが、先づびつくりして逃げ出した。｜この寺は、その古さを語る老柏に埋れて、堂々の建築美を誇る靑州の名刹、如何にも禪寺らしい閑居であつた。｜（一九二九撮影）（印畫の複製を禁ず）
