玉皇頂 （泰山）

泰山の絕頂、俗に玉皇頂と云ひ、舊と太平頂或は天柱峯と名けらる。道敎萬神の主宰者たる玉皇大帝を祀る玉帝觀あり、もと太淸宮と稱す。明の成化十九年、憲宗の命により、寵愛せる一宦官の主宰のもとに建てらる。門に勅修玉皇頂とあるは、明の隆慶六年、南昌の萬恭帝命を奉じて重修したるによる。廟の東に迎旭亭あり、山霧を辟いて昇る旭日の壯嚴なるに名を得。｜（一九二九撮影）（印畫の複製を禁ず）

Yuhuangding (Mount Tai)

The top of Mount Tai, commonly known as the Jade Emperor Peak, is also known as the Ancient Taiping Peak or Tianzhubong. The Jade Emperor Kan, originally called the Taicheong Palace, enshrines the Jade Emperor, the presiding deity of Doshomanjin. In the 19th year of Chenghua in the Ming dynasty, it was built under the presidency of a favored eunuch by order of Xianzong. The inscription on the gate says, "Emperor Shuu Jade," is from the 6th year of Longqing of the Ming dynasty, under the order of Emperor Wangong of Nanchang. To the east of the mausoleum is Geikyokutei, which is named after the rising sun that rises through the mountain fog. ｜(Photographed in 1929) (Reproduction of seal is prohibited)
