山門莊嚴 （九華山）

祇園禪寺の有難さは、その山門の崇大に一段の光を添へる。｜三層の屋根を有する嚴めしい山門は、門前の一小池にその姿を倒影して、極楽莊嚴の一場面を表現する。陽光明かならんか、白堊と黑壁との奇妙な對象が、殺風景な硝子窓の背景にも拘らず、不思議な明るさを見せる。兩傍「佛日增輝」の句は、全く恰好の文句だ。｜（一九二九年撮影）（印畫の複製を禁ず）
