陽氣に早い木の梢には、もう新芽が開いてゐる四月のなかば過ぎ、老嶺の山道にはまだ踏みつけた雪が解けないでゐる。｜路は、行つても行ても、幾らかの常綠樹を混へた雜木林だ。覆ひかぶさつた木立が、雨模樣の霧に今日は何となく暗い。護衛の巡警が時々銃の臺尻を抱えては四方を睨め廻した。｜さう言へば老嶺は、馬賊に聞ゑた山だつた　（一九三〇年撮影）（印畵の複製を禁ず）
