揮江の朝 （五道溝）

朝である。山塊江に逼り、九曲の河道が始らうと言ふ。四道街の朝である。｜通化平野一帶の特產大豆を下流に運ふ二百石積の豆舟は、真迫の幌をしつろちと川霧に潤して、今日の波瀾の行程を前に、靜にうつとりとまだ眠つてゐる。旅の者にとって何だか異國めいた朝の雰圍氣だ。（一九三〇年撮影）（印畵の複製を禁ず）
