雨乞ひの九龍 （大同）

九龍壁は大同府の和陽街東にあつて、建設した年代は明かでないが、明代王府の照壁であつたと傳へられてゐる。高さ二米半、長さ三十米餘。｜所謂五彩の瑠璃瓦を以て、九つの龍と雲波が刻み出出されて居り、旱天には前にある矩形の池の水を龍身にかくれば、忽ちにして雨が降ると言はれてゐるが、池はいつも乾からびて泥水さへも溜つてゐない。（一九三〇年撮影）（印畵の複製を禁ず）
