日本にも所緣の寺 （楊州）

平山堂内法淨寺は、古の大明寺の跡であるその日本との所緣を尋ぬれば、時は奈良朝の盛時、勅を奉じた使僧は遠くてこの大明寺に來つてその鑑眞和尚に渡東を請ひ、鑑眞も萬難を排して日本に渡り、天皇以下一世の歸依を得て、奈良朝佛教絢爛たる天平時代の一大明星となつたのだ。｜今は明僧善知識の俤なしと雖も、大雄寶殿の甍依然として高い。（一九三〇年撮影）（印畵の複製を禁ず）
