先づ門構へから （南京）

歐洲近世復興式建築に見る大圓柱、その鐵扉を嚴しく飾る北平王宮式大獅子、水票發賣所の如き衛兵舍、仰いで文字を見るまでもなく、國民政府街門の偉觀である。共匪や土匪の跳梁はあれ、今日では紛れもなく國民政府大萬歲である。その實力がこの大門關に表徵されてはゐるが、番小屋の不調和が、今日の世相の不安をも秘に暗示してゐる。（一九三〇年撮影）（印畵の複製を禁ず）
