葛根廟會開始の會圖（その二）
この第一図は、喇嘛僧が本殿の屋根の上で渾身の力をこめて大笛（ラツパ）を吹く光景であつて、その肢体にこめた力と、双頬をふくらました態を見せ、天地の隅々まで響けと吹くところを示したものである。第二図は、廟会開始の大笛（ラツパ）の音が支え台にのせられて、昿い宇宙に向つて、吹かれ、その音は、天地の隅隅まで響き亘り、神々の耳に達し、沙丘が現はれ天上に白雲が飛んだところである。何百年経たか知ら　いが、大笛（ラツパ）は喇嘛僧達の手垢の脂で光つてゐるのも神秘を呼ぶ一つの力である。この大笛（ラツパ）はなかなか長大で、一人で運ぶには困難な位で、運搬する時は、先を車に乗せて押して運ぶのである。（印画の複製を禁ず）
