大明湖の蓮根堀
済南城内に在る大明湖には蓮が多く秋から冬にかけて蓮根堀が行はれ、済南の街に賈われる。蓮根堀は写真に示す如く潜水夫の着るやうな皮の服を着て、水が直接体に浸潤せぬやうにしてゐるので、冬でも長時間入水し、蓮根堀りを続けるこが出来る。（印画複製を禁ず）
