English: The glass beads unearthed at Taiwanese sites were made using two methods：the drawn method and the wire-wound method. The early examples are all drawn, which was made by pulling molten glass into a tube shape and then cutting it into small beads. This technique, believed to originate in india, allowed the production of small beads of a single color. Later examples were created using the wire-wound method, in which molten glass was rolled into beads using metal rods and then detached from the rods, allowing the creation of larger and more colorful beads.
