中文（臺灣）：唐榮鐵工廠股份有限公司為高雄民間最重要之鐵工廠，唐榮為福建晉江人，年少時來台從事土木工程，後其常赴日本，瞭解利用廢鐵發展工業的可能性，遂於1940年（昭和15年）於高雄市成立「唐榮鐵工廠」。 戰後唐榮鐵工廠由其子唐傳宗接棒，是少數具有規模的民營鐵工廠，一般人更以「北大同、南唐榮」並稱，更先後成立油漆廠、台北機械廠、水泥電桿工廠、高雄磚廠等，員工達4,000多人。但唐傳宗為擴充廠房，常向民間借高利貸之游資，後於1960年（民國49年）爆發財務危機、週轉失靈，請求政府救濟，最後於1962年（民國51年）2月1日改組為省屬事業機構，也成為公營事業，後省府雖仍有一連串建設，如建立「中興鋼鐵廠」， 但已無法與當年相比。
