Description
日本語: 近代まで水橋川には架橋が行われていなかったが、1869年（明治2年）6月26日この橋が完成し、東西水橋間の聯絡が容易となった。この架橋にあたり、近隣の神社境内の神木を多数伐採したため、これに敬意と感謝を表して行われるのが、毎年7月に行われる同町の橋祭りの由来であるという。
