| Description |
中文（臺灣）：1953年韓戰停戰，亞洲東南沿海島嶼戰火再起，接著解放軍對金門發動大規模的九三砲戰，引發第一次台海危機。1955年，中共突襲大陳島北邊的一江山，國軍全軍覆沒，大陳島遂落在中共砲彈的射程之內，情勢危急。經多方評估後，國民政府在不得已的情形下，決定撤離大陳島，將島上的居民與軍隊全數遷移至台灣，加強鞏固對台灣本島的防守。抵達台灣的大陳居民先在基隆港上岸，而後政府將其安置於台灣各地，包括台東、花蓮、宜蘭、基隆、台北、桃園、新竹、高雄、屏東等十二縣市，其中岳明新村即為宜蘭縣四個大陳新村之一。2009年當地人士透過蘭陽博物館籌備處向文建會爭取經費，社區理事長陳憬鋒並號召旅居各地鄉親，把大陳島帶過來的文物捐出來，籌設大陳文物館，保存展示大陳義胞相關史料，讓文物館成為大陳人共同的記憶空間，也希望後代子孫不要忘記自己的"根"。 |
