English: This factory was once a large chemistry plant built in 1899 (Meiji year 32) named Taipei Nanmon Factory of the Monopoly Bureau, Government-General of Taiwan for camphor refining and opium manufacture in an area of around 56,200 square metres. It is now called "The Nanmenm Factory of Monopoly Bureau" as a National Monument. |
