中文（繁體）：「屏東書院」創建至今近200年(1815-)，因極具歷史文化價值且保存尚稱完善，於74年11月27日被指定為三級古蹟。清末臺灣雖曾設有大量的書院建築，但歷經日據時期與光復後的變遷與破壞，至今僅餘12座保存較好的書院得以列入古蹟名單，而南部地區數量稀少，僅「屏東書院」與高雄鳳山的「鳳儀書院」等二處，故顯彌足珍貴。 |
