中文（臺灣）：本文藉由比較文獻與地圖，從後勁溪南北的兩類遺址切入，探討塔加里揚族的歷史。
藉由比對荷治時期的文獻與相關地圖，幾可比定塔加里揚（Taccoriang）為打狗的異譯，而此時的村落名經常以鄰近之河為名，塔加里揚河也就是現今的愛河。進一步比定塔加里揚舊社於1643年4月至12月之間改成阿猴（Akauw）社，而經過地圖的綜合比對，可確定其舊社居住地位於打狗附近一帶，也就是愛河水系範圍，更確切的方位是柴山北段東麓到覆鼎金的區域，在考古類型上屬於後勁溪以南的類型。阿猴社與新港社之間，則有大目降社等部落散居，各部落在當時密切互動、相互征戰。從比對塔加里揚、新港、大目降諸社的社址、遷徙時間等，可發現荷治時期諸部落的豐富歷史。 從上述可知，限於荷治時期與清治時期的相關文獻過於稀少，需要與古地圖相互比對，才能從中釐清一條條的線索，重建出荷治時期高雄地域的平埔族群歷史。 |
