Description
中文(繁體):村岡茂與村岡文彥木目込人形(歌人),新北市鶯歌區南靖里(南靖厝)
English: Kimekomi Ningyo are dolls made by sculpting wood, or by mixing a powder of paulownia wood with starch paste and shaping it, to which cloth is affixed to the surface to make clothing. These dolls represent a nobleman composing a waka poem, and a typical noblewoman at the Japanese imperial court in the Heian period(794~1185).
