日本語: 東京駅八重洲中央北口の東海道新幹線用地基準標。半円状に切断された金属鋲の底辺部分（画面縦方向）が東海道新幹線（JR東海）と東北新幹線（JR東日本）の境界となるが、この上部の14・15番線ホームは弓なりにカーブしており、開業時にはなく新たに設けられた八重洲中央北口の改札は構造上JR東日本の敷地に食い込んでいることが分かる。
