Description
中文（繁體）：本棟建築建於1902年，是橋頭糖廠成立時的俱樂部，前方原是一片空地，乃是日本武裝部隊的練兵場。建築風格與社宅事務所同是模仿荷蘭在東南亞殖民地的建築，採地上高架結構以利通風，迴廊和連續拱門造型則是歐洲傳統建築的移殖。古蹟專家李乾朗先生稱它為「熱帶殖民西洋樣式建築」。 雖然這兩棟建築的設計圖來自荷蘭，仍舊融入部份的和式建築風格。在屋頂方面很明顯可以看出，和日本傳統木構造房屋一樣的屋頂；屋樑則是日本人最喜愛的臺灣檜木。
