Description
中文（臺灣）：照片中的織布機是過去太魯閣族女性常用的工具，使用者以雙腳抵住木箱，另一端以繩子綁於腰上，來進行編織，而織布的時間通常是忙完農務後。太魯閣族的服飾過去男女都以白底褐色條紋的麻布衣，配上頭飾、耳飾、頸飾及綁腿。傳統男性的服裝為背心及遮住陰部的布，女性則身著以白布為底、加上背心及袖衣的上衣，下半身則穿著兩片方巾互圍與綁腿。盛裝禮服則是祭儀時才會穿著。服飾上常以幾何式的線條與三角形、菱形構成，太魯閣族人相信菱形的圖案象徵祖靈的眼睛。此影像收錄於《顧我洄瀾：花蓮歷史影像集》一書，為葉柏強先生撰寫、花蓮縣文化局於2016年（民國105年）出版。書中記錄了花蓮近百年的城市樣貌，是一本擁有豐富文史與圖像資料的書籍。
