中文（臺灣）：照片中的道路為「黑金通」，「黑金通」的由來有許多說法，一說法指出，此區夜生活豐富，賺的是入夜後的黃金；還有一說法是因此路段有鐵軌經過。戰後的黑金通改名為中山路，很長一段時間仍然是花蓮市最熱鬧繁忙的地方，也聚集許多重要的公司行號以及銀行，也是鐵路、公路運輸等等最重要的交通樞紐。然而隨著火車站的遷移，花蓮客運以及臺汽客運搬遷，許多原本因應觀光客所開設的特產商行一間間地收起來，直至近年隨著舊鐵道以及觀光活動興起，人潮方漸漸開始聚集於此。此影像收錄於《顧我洄瀾：花蓮歷史影像集》一書，為葉柏強先生撰寫、花蓮縣文化局於2016年（民國105年）出版。書中記錄了花蓮近百年的城市樣貌，是一本擁有豐富文史與圖像資料的書籍。 |
