Description
中文（繁體）：西子灣蔣介石行館原為日治時期台灣總督府慶祝始政四十週年紀念博覽會，高雄分館觀光館的附屬分館，所以創建年代應該是昭和10年(1935)間。建築物緊鄰西子灣海水浴場，後來一度成為海水浴場附屬的溫水澡堂，二次大戰期間為軍方接管，傳說一度是日本海軍招待所。戰後，該建築物於民國41年(1952)由海軍總司令部移交總統府，作為蔣介石總統在南部的休息處所。民國47年(1958)8月23日八二三砲戰爆發，蔣總統在南部的住處移設到大貝湖(今澄清湖)內，此地逐漸被閒置，後來被改為展示蔣總統的相關文物，除二樓之外，一樓展示昔日蔣總統南京的座車，以及當時的廚房和隨從休息室等附屬空間。目前由中山大學管理，規劃作為藝文展覽場所，稱為「西灣藝廊」。
