中文（臺灣）：「西鄉廳憲德政碑」位於宜蘭市往員山鄉的中山橋東側堤防上，是為紀念了日據時代首任宜蘭廳長西鄉菊次郎的治績而設立的。西鄉菊次郎從明治30年至35年（1897～1902）期間內，擔任宜蘭廳廳長，任期內主要的政績為整治宜蘭河，使鄉民免於水患之苦。 |
