Summary edit

Description
中文(繁體):青花開光花卉紋瓶(17世紀前半,白獅號沉船物件),臺北市士林區陽明山次分區臨溪里(雙溪庄外雙溪)
English: The Witte Leeuw (White Lion) shipwreck was discovered near St. Helena in the Atlantic Ocean between 1976 and 1977. The ship was under the Dutch East India Company. In 1612, after the ship was loaded in Banten, Indonesia, it joined a fleet with three additional ships bound for the Netherlands. When the fleet passed through St. Helena, the commander of the Witte Leeuw attacked a Spanish armed merchantman, but the attempt failed. The Witte Leeuw sank as a result. The document from the National Archives of the Netherlands in The Hague shows that most of the cargos onboard were diamond and spices. However, the underwater archeologists discovered a large number of porcelains from the wreckage of the cabin.
