Description
中文（臺灣）：　　頭城慶元宮正殿雖是1960年所重建，但新建廟殿仍部分運用了1889（光緒15）年舊廟的建築構件，正殿步口廊龍柱即是一例。

　　在龍邊龍柱頂端有一石雕書卷額，其上有陰刻金字「光緒己丑年立　甲辰重修」，光緒己丑年即1889（光緒15）年，甲辰年為1964年，應是正殿重建落成的時間。在虎邊龍柱頂端亦有一石雕書卷額，其上陰刻金字「林姓裔孫仝叩」，因媽祖為林姓，故當地林姓民眾共同敬獻此對龍柱。

　　此對龍柱之柱礎呈圓盤狀，柱身在底端為海浪，龍首在海浪上方下張口仰望，龍身向上盤繞圓柱，龍尾在上。兩根龍柱頂端在面向中門方向各雕刻以兩個人物。另搭配盤繞龍身，有八仙主題之仙人雕刻，並點綴以具吉祥寓意的祥獸如麒麟、獅子，以及鳳凰、喜鵲等瑞鳥。
