中文（臺灣）： 香爐，又稱「神明爐」，用以在民眾向神焚香祭禱後，可供承載香火的容器。
頭城慶元宮安奉於正殿媽祖神龕前神桌下桌的香爐，為木作方爐，雙展耳。爐身分上中下三段。上段為一平台，簡樸無飾，正面陰刻以「慶元宮」三字，兩側以雕飾有太極陰陽圖案之圓形構件與香爐雙耳連接。中段往內收束，正面中央為以牡丹為主題之透雕。下段量體最大，中央正面採「福祿壽三星」之木作透雕。中央為福星，手持如意，左側童子手捧元寶，背後飾以梅花。左側為祿星，手抱娃兒，背景為竹子。右側為壽星，左手捧仙桃，右手持拐杖，拐杖上掛以葫蘆，右側童子手持蓮花，後方背景為松樹。兩側弧形周緣陰刻以「咸豐癸丑年端月吉旦置」、「頭圍街弟子鄭卯答謝」，可知此木作香爐為1853（咸豐3）年舊曆正月時，頭圍街信眾鄭卯所捐贈。 |
