Description
中文（繁體）：高雄五塊厝高東天后宮位於高雄市苓雅區河北路155號，係由旅高澎湖人士呂明露、呂順禮、呂石字、莊石養先生等人，於民國58年創設，初期設於七賢路呂石字先生家中，後隨呂石字先生遷往五福路，隨後在虔誠之善信大德籌資購下現地，並於民國76年動工興建，歷經五十多年方竣工。再於81年先行入火安座，82年全部竣工，並舉行慶成大典，正式完成一座小巧精緻的廟宇，若非居住附近的居民，應該不太有人知道這座廟宇。雖非古蹟，廟裡環境清幽，正殿上只供奉一尊媽祖，和其他地方同時供奉數尊媽祖金身的廟宇截然不同，我也是上午經過無意中發現居然有座美輪美奐的天后宮在這裡，頗值得大家來瞧瞧膜拜。 往昔進廟者幾乎都是年長者，現在卻是年輕人多於長者，顯見台灣宮廟文化將永留長存。
