보이그룹 다크비(DKB)가 가요계에 정식으로 데뷔했다. 3일 오후 서울 강남구 슈피겐홀에서 다크비의 데뷔앨범 ‘Youth’(유스) 쇼케이스가 열렸다. 타이틀 ‘미안해 엄마 (Sorry Mama)’(쏘리 마마)는 브레이브엔터테인먼트의 수장 용감한 형제를 주축으로, 레드쿠키와 다크비 멤버들의 공동작업으로 탄생한 EDM TRAP(이디엠 트랩) 장르 기반의 힙합 댄스곡이다. 이외에도 데뷔앨범에는 인트로 ‘YOUTH’와 다크비의 설렘과 꿈을 표현한 ‘Go Up’(고 업), 계속해서 성장하겠다는 목표를 담은 ‘Elevator’(엘리베이터), Flex(플렉스)한 주제를 재치 있게 풀어낸 ‘Samsung’(삼성)이 수록됐다. 특히 ‘Youth’는 다크비 4부작 시리즈의 서막을 여는 앨범으로, 앞으로 나아가는 멤버들의 열정 가득한 모습을 다채롭게 표현했다. 브레이브엔터테인먼트에서 7년 만에 선보이는 9인조 신인 다크비는 이찬과 D1, 테오, GK, 희찬, 룬, 준서, 유쿠, 해리준으로 구성됐다. 팀명은 ‘Dark Brown Eyes’(다크 브라운 아이즈)의 줄임말로, 검은 눈동자를 가진 멤버들이 음악을 통해 전 세계로 뻗어 나가겠다는 포부도 담고 있다. 작사와 작곡, 안무 창작, 아크로바틱, 디제잉 등 제작에도 참여하며 아티스트형 그룹의 탄생을 알린 다크비는 ‘차세대 슈퍼 루키’로 활약할 것을 예고했다. |
