패션돌 ; passion doll - history ; 14세기 말 살인사건이 하나 일어난다. 범인의 집에는 사람형태를가진 인형들이 저마다의 포즈를 취하고 있었다. 그러나 그 인형들은 범인이 시체에 밀랍을 발라 인형으로 만든것. 초기 패션돌은 이 사건을 바탕으로 죽은 사람의 시체에 밀랍을 발라 박물관등에 전시하는 용도로 쓰였지만 현재로선 초기의 목적과는 무관하게도 의상을 입혀 전시하는 용도로 쓰이고 있다.현재 패션돌(passion doll)이라는 단어는 잘 쓰이지 않고 마네킹(mannequin)으로 쓰이고 있다 |
