Summary edit

Description

Well amongst the usual end of summer dross were some very pretty customers. Both Burnished Brass and Frosted Orange were gleaming bright at the bottom of the trap this morning.

I won't list the rest of the moths (albeit the species that did not turn up the previous night) as it's just all very samey.

Best moth of the night was a wandering Calamotropha paludella, a first for the garden and totally unexpected.
