This anaglyph image - an image in gray values that appears visually three-dimensional when using red-blue glasses - was not generated from the HRSC's stereo channels as usual.

Summary edit

Description
Bild: 6/7, Credit: ESA/DLR/FU Berlin CCBY-SA 3.0 IGO

Instead, the digital terrain model of the image mosaic and the nadir mosaic, the vertical top view of the area, were used to “virtually” generate an anaglyph image. When you use 3D glasses, the landscape of Noctis Labyrinthus becomes a spatially spectacular experience. Image: 6/7, Credit: ESA/DLR/FU Berlin CCBY-SA 3.0 IGO
