Description
Tagalog: Dumaong ang ekspedisyon sa Cebu, isang aktibong pook-kalakalan na pinamumunuan ni Raha Humabon, 7 Abril 1521. Nagpabinyag ang raha at iba pang mamamayan bilang Kristiyano, 14 Abril 1521. Tinanggap din ni Juana, asawa ni Humabon, ang imahen ng Santo Niño mula kay Fernando Magallanes, pinuno ng ekspedisyon. Tinanggap nila ang mga ambag para sa paglalayag mula sa mga pinunong kumilala sa kapangyarihan ni Raha Humabon.

Matapos mapatay ng mga mandirigma ng Mactan si Magallanes, hinalal bilang bagong pinuno ng ekspedisyon si Duarte Barbosa, 27 Abril 1521. Sumapi si Humabon sa mga taga-Mactan at pinaslang ang ilan sa mga kasapi ng ekspedisyon, 1 Mayo 1521.

Ang panandang pangkasaysayang ito ay pinasinayaan bilang ambag sa paggunita sa ika-500 anibersaryo ng unang pag-ikot sa daigdig.
